Thira is a location-based dating application built and maintained by Weaver Labs.

By downloading, accessing, or using Thira, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Thira Is

Thira is a dating platform designed exclusively for people who are physically present at Kozhikode Beach, Kerala, India.

Thira allows users to:

• View other nearby profiles
• Send a "wave" (like) or pass
• Match when both users wave each other
• Chat after a mutual match

Thira is only a facilitator. We do not guarantee matches, conversations, or outcomes.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to use Thira
• You must provide accurate information, including your date of birth
• Users under 18 are strictly prohibited
• We reserve the right to remove any account suspected of belonging to a minor

3. Account Rules

• You may create only one account
• Accounts must represent a real person
• Fake profiles, impersonation, AI-generated photos, or misleading content are not allowed
• You are responsible for all activity on your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, with or without notice.

4. User Content

You may upload content such as:

• Profile information
• Photos
• Messages

Ownership

• You retain ownership of your content
• By using Thira, you grant Weaver Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the app

Prohibited Content

You must not post or share content that:

• Is illegal, abusive, harassing, or hateful
• Is sexually explicit or exploitative
• Promotes scams, solicitation, or fraud
• Violates another person’s rights or privacy

5. Screenshots & Sharing

• Users may technically take screenshots
• Sharing another user’s profile, photos, or messages outside Thira without consent is strictly prohibited
• Reported violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban

6. Matching & Visibility

• Matches are generated algorithmically based on user preferences and activity
• Proximity is used only to confirm presence at Kozhikode Beach
• Matches, visibility, or profile exposure are not guaranteed
• Profile visibility may vary based on system limits, activity, or app changes

7. Location-Based Service

• Thira is a Kozhikode Beach-specific experience
• The app may not function outside the defined geographic boundary
• Location accuracy depends on your device, GPS, and network
• Weaver Labs is not responsible for location inaccuracies or service unavailability

8. Chats & Communication

• Messaging is available only after a mutual match
• Chats are encrypted in transit but not end-to-end encrypted
• Weaver Labs does not routinely monitor chats
• We reserve the right to review chats or profiles if:
  • A user is reported
  • Required for safety, moderation, or legal compliance

Blocked users cannot interact further.

9. Safety & Real-World Meetings

Thira does not organize, supervise, or guarantee real-world meetings.

By using Thira, you acknowledge:

• You interact and meet other users at your own risk
• Weaver Labs is not responsible for offline interactions
• Users are responsible for their own safety, decisions, and behavior

We strongly encourage meeting in public places and exercising common sense.

10. Prohibited Behavior

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Impersonate another person
• Use Thira for commercial purposes
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app
• Circumvent restrictions or moderation actions

Violations may result in permanent removal.

11. Premium & Future Features

• Thira is currently free to use
• Certain features (such as Incoming Waves) may be previews of future premium offerings
• In the future, subscriptions may be introduced (monthly or yearly)
• Pricing, billing, and renewal terms will be clearly disclosed before any purchase

12. App Changes & Availability

Weaver Labs may:

• Modify or remove features
• Change matching logic
• Limit or discontinue the service
• Shut down Thira entirely

We are not liable for any loss resulting from service changes or discontinuation.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the app
• We determine your presence is harmful to the community

You may delete your account at any time via in-app settings.

14. Disclaimers

Thira is provided "as is" and "as available".

We make no guarantees regarding:

• Matches or compatibility
• User behavior or honesty
• Continuous availability or error-free operation

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Weaver Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Thira
• If Thira is free, liability is zero

16. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India
• Courts in Kerala, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updates will be reflected on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Thira means acceptance of the updated Terms.
